Markus Plank has been an important part of the Austrian digital industry for around 15 years. As a proven expert for programmatic advertising, operations and online marketing, he was first on the publisher's side and then moved to the largest technical service provider in the DACH region. In his career, he has had the privilege of accompanying several startups and publishers in the digitization of their processes. He sees himself as a bridge builder between technology, operations and sales and has thus been able to help many entrepreneurs achieve success.
Since October 2019, Markus Plank has been President of the IAB Austria and a proud representative of the Austrian digital economy. Together with a motivated board, he has led the IAB back to its former strength in the last three years. Important topics here are above all the Cookieless Future, the legal framework for the TCF Framework, the GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive, as well as the training program.
